Finally, what impact has the changing nature of our students and our world had on what you do as a teacher? Has your work changed significantly in the past few years? Is your classroom significantly different from the classrooms that you spent time in as a student? How?
Our work must change. Student are coming to our schools expecting action. We are also expecting teachers to meet the needs of all students. We can no longer shoot down the middle and expect the high and low students to get by.

I think that students need to work more on solializing collaboratively with others around them. They find success with texting and not verbally sharing. They do not seem to be as successful reflecting their thoughts with others and working together effectively.
